Sự Tích Đồng Tiền Vạn Lịch - Truyện cổ tích Việt Nam

Ngày xửa ngày xưa có người tên Vạn Lịch, làm nghề buôn bán, thuộc hàng giàu có nhất nhì trên cả nước. Tài sản của hắn có khoảng trăm chiếc thuyền chuyên chở hàng hóa. Còn có riêng một chiếc chuyên để Lịch ở, có cả buồng nằm, buồng ăn đoàng hoàng… chẳng khác nào một căn nhà trên đất liền. Chỗ ngồi thì được bao quanh bằng gấm vóc lụa là. Tất cả đồ dùng đều làm bằng vàng bằng bạc cả.

Vợ hắn rất trẻ và vô cùng xinh đẹp tên gọi là Mai Thị. Những khi hắn rời nhà đi buôn ở xa thì hắn thường nghi vợ mình không thực tâm với mình. Vì hắn thường xét nét mọi chuyện từng chút một nên nàng vừa cảm thấy sung sướng lại cũng thực khổ tâm.
